Amsterdam Drone week student reporting team
RAI Amsterdam used a team of Student Social Media Reporters to deliver professional-grade reporting about the Amsterdam Drone Week.
Studenten make the Drone Week take off online
RAI Amsterdam is not only a great venue for event organizers; They also create and organise a number of their own events. The newest is the Amsterdam Drone Week. Why drones? A lot will change in the coming years: the self-flying drones are coming! To make the event grow, the RAI deployed a team of students accompanied by our professionals to report live on Twitter, Facebook and the new @AmsterdamDroneWeek Instagram account. Coached by our professional editor and video editor, a team of enthusiastic students went into the halls and the floor for 2 days to Twitter, create Instagram posts and to record interviews with visitors, speakers and sponsors of # ADW19, with their mobile telephone as the only tool. With overwhelming results: Trending topic, reached 800,000 unique people and a flying start for the new Instagram account.
Working with students has many advantages: The students get free access to the latest knowledge in their field, the client has a fresh, young team at the event and because we work with a large team we can be present in several places at the same time.
